The soundbar needed the subwoofer to complete the experience. It fills out the soundstage of movies perfectly, adding depth without cranking up the volume. It’s also fantastic for Bluetooth music, delivering rich bass. The only downside is the price—it’s a bit on the higher side, but worth it for the quality.

It’s a fantastic piece of equipment. I use this SW3 in my living room and have the SW5 in my bedroom. While the SW3 doesn’t hit as hard as its larger sibling, it still does an excellent job of filling the room with deep bass that enhances the soundstage of whatever I’m watching. The wireless connection is a huge bonus, and it’s incredibly easy to pair with most Sony soundbars. Great value for the price!
